As a computer science major, I am dedicated to using technology to solve real-world problems and create positive change.

I believe I have the ability to foster changes that will help people live healthier and happier lives.

While exploring the biomedical field, I recognized the lack of African American women in the space, which only pushed me to want to further explore, and ultimately choose, Biomedical Engineering as my future career path.

Grasping and understanding mathematical problems comes to me effortlessly and I’m naturally intrigued with science and innovation.

Earning my engineering degree from Tuskegee University will complement the leadership qualities that I have and admire, and choose to emulate.

My success will benefit me, but, more importantly, it will help others see what positive things can happen with hard work.

From a young age, I knew that I wanted to pursue a career in the engineering field. After years of searching for the perfect career, I found Aerospace Engineering.

I'm someone who finds joy in giving back to a community that has given so much to me as a low-income student. I'll continue to pay it forward by taking initiatives in multiple non-profit organizations with the goal of improving the lives of people in underserved communities.

I am looking forward to beginning my next chapter at North Carolina A&T State University where I will be studying Agricultural Business.
