Meet Ra'Niah Rogers: 2025 FOSSI Scholar Attending North Carolina A&T State University

FOSSI: Tell us a bit about yourself.

My name is Ra'Niah Rogers. I'm from Cincinnati, Ohio, and I graduated from Dater High School. I'm currently a freshman at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. Throughout high school, I loved science and doing experiments. I also gained valuable experience volunteering and working at camps that teach younger kids about STEM. I excelled in both science and math during high school, which is part of the reason I plan to major in chemical engineering. I'm also drawn to how diverse the field is and how much chemical engineers contribute to society.

I want to lead technological advancements in chemical engineering and create a revolutionary impact on both society and the industry
