FOSSI Scholar Reonah Robinson, a rising junior at Alabama A&M University majoring in mechanical engineering, spent an exciting summer as a PPG Primer Intern in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania!
Gaining Experience at PPG
The program began with a two-day orientation at PPG’s headquarters, which provided Primer Interns with an introduction to the company’s culture, values, and commitment to innovation. Robinson also had the opportunity to connect with fellow interns and company leaders through networking events and gained valuable insight into PPG's vision and strategic goals outlined in “The PPG Way 2030.”
Following orientation, Robinson began her internship with the Aerospace Coatings team at PPG's Coatings Innovation Center, where she developed instructional videos designed to provide industry professionals with engaging visual resources to complement the online learning modules available through PPG’s Aerospace Academy.
Building a Foundation for the Future
