For the second year, FOSSI sponsor SABIC provided the opportunity for their FOSSI scholars to attend the American Chemistry Council’s annual Responsible Care & Sustainability Conference, which was held this year in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
FOSSI scholars Jaylen Williams, a freshman at Tuskegee University, and Kamari Shaw, a freshman at Tennessee State University, joined nearly 300 attendees at this year’s event, which also featured a CEO panel of FOSSI sponsors, including Bruce Chinn (Chevron Phillips Chemical), Erin Kane (AdvanSix), and Haakan Jonsson (Covestro).
Jaylen and Kamari had the opportunity to connect with leading environmental, health, safety and sustainability experts and learn how the industry is advancing safety and sustainability through innovative products and technologies.
