FOSSI: Tell us a bit about yourself.
Who am I? I immediately think of a girl who loves to smile ear to ear, a leader, motivated, and I can make anyone laugh. Growing up, I gave myself the nickname “Boss Lady,” and quickly realized there was much more to being a boss than just being in charge.
I’ve always been able to stand alone, in order to stay true to myself. As the only girl on the boy’s basketball team growing up, I carried myself with high standards to ensure respect. Whether I was being confident in an outfit or a hairstyle, I was a boss.
I️ was born and raised in Chicago, IL, and I love to experience new things around the city. I️ can't wait to step on NC A&T State's campus and enjoy the warmer weather North Carolina has to offer. I️ am the youngest of 4, with 2 brothers and 1 sister. I also love to spend time with my family and friends!
