To learn more about Armon, read on and watch the full video below.
What inspired you to pursue a STEM degree and how has FOSSI helped your journey?
I was inspired to pursue a STEM degree because of my love of math and science that kind of got me into engineering. Then, through the Career Exploration program at my school, I got to experiment with the different types of engineering. I think that’s also why FOSSI is really important because it allowed us to learn about different kinds of engineers and get some experience, like through this program, and that’s definitely helping me a lot.
What are your long-term goals and how will STEM help you get there?
Long term, I think that I want to get into mechatronics. I would love to work with a little more autonomous technology and maybe even start my own factory creating products one day. Definitely the foundation that I’m getting in school right now through the FOSSI program and through my education is definitely providing the building blocks and connections to get there.
