CF Industries: Why did you decide to pursue a STEM degree?

I decided to pursue a STEM degree because I’ve always wondered how I can incorporate myself in the world, as far as safety and how things move, so that the Earth can be healthy, and we can be safe.

How has FOSSI impacted your educational journey?

Being interested in the FOSSI  scholarship program has allowed me to say, “Hey, I am pursuing a major in chemistry, I want to know how I can make things safe, how I can make sure that things are up to protocol, and test out the quality of things.” The FOSSI scholarship has allowed me not only to learn things within my STEM major, but also learn things that will help me in life through different mentorships where we can network with different people throughout the program and learn new things that will help us in life.
